Wf�REAS, the O�mmissioner of Administration of the State of
Minnesota, procl,u�s for State agencies through co�etitive bidding various
supplies, ca�nod.ities and equipme.�zt, which are then ordered by or for the
agencies by appropriate methods, and
WII�REAS, the State Legislature by Nlinnesota Statutes 1969, Sec.
471.59 has authorized the Sta.te and it's political subdivisions to enter into
agreerrn_nts to exercise jointly the gav�ernmental pawers and functions each has
individually, and
Wf�REAS, the Stat� and the City of H�opkins wish to continue their
purchasing functions as is specifically pnmvided. belvw so that the City of
Hopkins may avail itself of the prices which have been agreed upon by the State
and its v�ndor.
THEREF�ORE, it is the purpose of this agreement to make available tr�
the City of Hapkins the c�etmodities listed belaw, at the prices and t�rms as
are available to the State under contracts entered into under ce�g�etitive bidding
pursuant to M.S. (1969) , Chapter 16, by the Camnissioner of Achninistration:
Passed and adopted by the City Cauncil of the City of Hapkins, Minnesota,
at a regular m�eting held on :Tuesday, the lst day of April 1975.
