RESOLUTION N0. 75-2436
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-2430 of the Council adopted
April l, 1975, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer,
with reference to the improvement of the residential area bounded by State
Highway 7, 5th Avenue North, Minnetonka Mills Road and the Burlington
Northern Railroad by the installation of ornamental street lighting thereon
and this report was received by the Council on May 6, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota,
as follows:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street lighting
in accordancd with the report and the assessment of the East 80 feet of the
West 265 feet of the North 150 feet of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 19, Township 117, Range 21 (Parcel 5020) ; Lots 1 thru 32,
inclusive Block 1, Lots 1 thru 25, inclusive, Block 2, Lots 1 thru 18, inclusive
Block 3, all in Campbell Addition; Lots 1 thru 13, inclusive, Block 1, Lots 1
thru 9, inclusive, Block 2, Lots 1 thru 2, inclusive, Block 3, all in Campbells
Second Addition; Lots 1 thru 6, inclusive, Block 1, Lots l, 2, 4 and 5, Block 2,
all in CampbeZZ Fourth Addition; Lots 1 thru 9, inclusive, Block 2, Lots 1 thru
6, inclusive, Block 3, Lots 1 thru 4, inclusive, Block 4, Lots 1 thru 8, inclusive,
Block 5, Lots 1 thru 8, inclusive, Block 6, Lots 1 thru 8, inclusive, Block 7,
Lots 1 thru 6, inclusive, Block 8, Lots 1 thru 7, inclusive, Block 9, Lots 1 thru
2, inclusive, Block 10, Lots 1 thru 2, inclusive, Block 11, Lots 1 thru 2, inclusive,
Block 12, all in Hobby Acres, Lohman Aahrus Division; Lots 1 thru 4, inclusive,
Block l, Hobby Acres, Lohman Koehler Division; Lots 1 thru 8, inclusive, Block l,
Lots 1 thru 9, inclusive Block 2, Kloss First Addition; Tracts A, B and C,
Registered Land Survey No. 95; Tracts A a�d B, Registered Land Survey No. 1066;
and all of Registered Land Survey No. 1295 for all or a portion of the cost of
the improvement pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended,
at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $18,751.70.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 3rd
day of June in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , and
the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required
by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota this 6th day of
May, 1975.
