75-2445 CITY OF HOPKINS Hennepin County, Minnesota RESOLUTION NO. 75-2445 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-2437 of the Council adopted May 6, 1975, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer, with reference to the east-west and north-south alleys in Block l, bounded by Excelsior Avenue, Second Street South, Fifth Avenue South and Sixth Avenue 5outh by concrete surfacing thereon and this report was received by the Council on June 3, 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such alleys in accord- ance with the report and the assessment of Lots 1 thru 32, inclusive, including vacated alleys and including adjacent railroad right-of-way, Block 1, West Minneapolis for all or a portion of the cost of the improve- ment pursuant to M.S.A. , Secs. 429.011 to Secs. 429.111, as amended, at an estimated cost of the improvement of $10,896.26 for concrete surfacing and $840.00 for grading and blacktop to meet existing driveways. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the lst day of July, 1975, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. , and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
