6-10-1975 Special Meeting A special meeting of the Ho�kins City Council and the Zoning and PZanning
Commission was held on Tuesday, June 10, I975, at 7:30 p.m. , in the Council
Chambers in the City Ha1Z.
Present were Acting Mayor Mi11er, Councilmen McDonaZd, and Milbert, Zoning and
Planning Cornrrtission members Shir�e�, Hance, ArnoZd and Mo11, aZso City Manager
Cotton, Zoning Administrator Kohnen, City Engineer Strojan and City Planner Hawks.
Mr. Hawks presented for discussion the updated proposed new Zoning Ordinance. (See
copy attached) .
City Manager Cotton presented a request from the Mayor of St. Anthony, for Council
adoption of a resolution to be presented to the County Board of Commissioners re
fair representation on the County Board of suburban and ruraZ Hennepin County
Communities.
Action: Mx. McDonald moved, and Mr. Milbert seconded the motion, that Resolution
No. 75-2447, "A RESOLUTION OUTLINING REDISTRICTING CRITERIA TO BE USED BY
THE HENNEPIN COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS", be adopted, and a certified
copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Board of Hennepin County
Commissioners. A poll of the vote was as follows: Mr. Milbert, yea; Mr.
McDonald, yea; and Mr. Mi11er, yea. Motion carried unanimously.
Action: Mr. MilZer moved, and Mr. Milbert seconded the motion, that the meefing
be adjourned. A po11 of th e vote was as follows: Mr. Milbert, yea; Mr.
Miller, yea; and Mr. McDonald ea. Motion carried unanimously.
