RESOLUTION N0. 75-2451
A RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 75-2451 of the Council adopted
July 15, 1975, a report has been prepared by John Strojan, City Engineer,
with reference to 3rd Street 5outh from Washington Avenue to 5th Avenue and
2nd Street South from 5th Avenue South to 7th Avenue South by the installation
of storm sewer and street repair thereon and this report was received by the
Council on July 15, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota,
as follows:
l. The Council will consider the improvement of such storm sewer and street
repair in accordance with the report and the assessment of C.M.St. P & P Railroad
in Section 25, Township 117, Range 22; Lots 8, 26, 30 and 31, Auditors Subdivision
No. 242; Tract 'A' , Registered Land Survey No. 264; Tracts 'A' and 'B' , Registered
Land Survey No. 396 ; Blocks 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 43, 44, 45, 46 and 47, inclusive,
including vacated streets and alleys, all in West Minneapolis for all or a
portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to M.S.A, Secs. 429.011 to Secs.
429.111, as amended, at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $7,360.00
for street repair and $66,125.00 for storm sew�er.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 5th
day of August, 1975, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. ,
and the Clerk shall give published notice of such hearing and improvement as
required by law.
Adopted by the Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 15th day
of July, 1975.
