75-416 CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE N0. 75-416 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ON-SALE WINE LICF�iSES AND PROVIDING LICENSE FEES Tf-IEREFOR BE IT ORDAINED by the Cowzcil of the City of Hopkins that Section 810 of the 1973 Code of Ordinances of the City of Hopkins be and the same is hereby amended by adding, adopting and enacting thereto the following: Section 8I0.32, ON-SALE WINE LICENSES. Subd. l. DEFINITIONS. A) ON-SALE WINE LICENSES. ��On-sale wine licensestshall mean licenses authorizing the sale flf wine not exceeding 14% alcohol by volwne for conswnption on the licensed premises only in con- junction with the sale of food. B) RESTAURANT. "Restauran�' shall mean an establishment under` the contral of a single proprietor or manager having appropriate facilities for serving meals and where, in con- sideration for payment therefor, meals are regularly served at tables to the general public, and which employs an adec{uate staff to provid.e that usual and suitable service to its guests. Subd. 2. SPECIAL LICENSES. The City Council of the City of Hopkins may grant a .special lzcense for the sale of wine to any establishment in the City of Hopkins which is a restaurant as here- inabove defined, which restaurant has facilities for seating not fewer than 25 guests at one time. Subd. 3. FEE. The fee for on-sale wine licenses sha11 be the sum of $ 500.00, per year. Subd. 4. APPLICATTON. Application £or such on-sale wine license shall be m�ace to the City Clerk of the City of Hopkins in the same ma.nner as applicatiors for other licenses to sell intoxi- cating liquor are made. Each su�h application shall be accompanied by the pxoper license fee.
