RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO
BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMEN'I'S
WI�REAS,, Pursuant to a Kesolution by the City Council of the �ity of
Hopkins No. 75-2440 adopted at a public meeting of said City Council, certain
infected trees were declared to be a nuisance and ordered immEdiately abated
by the cutting and removal of such infected trees upon Lots 11 through 20,
inclusive, Block l, Davison's Addition to Wes� Minne''apolis; and,
WHERF.�S, The owner or owners o£ said premises failed and refused to
remove and abate said nuisance; and,
Wf�REAS, The City of Hopkins thereupon contracted for the removal of
such trees, and the price `for such labor and removal is $1,950.00; and of this
cost the City of Nopkins will pay no part.
NOW, 'THER�FORE, It is hereby Resolved by the City Cotmcil of the
City of Hopkins as follows:
1.. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby
declared to be $1,950.00.
2. The City Clexk, with ti�e assistance of the City Engineer, sha11
forth�rith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improve-
ment against every assessable lot, piece or parce� o� land within said valuation,
as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in
his office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the Hopkins City Council
held September 2, 1975.
