Special Meeting on 9-17-1975 A special meeting of the CounciZ of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, was heZd on Wednesday, September 17, 1975, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall. Present were Mayor Miller, Counci.Zmen, McDonald, Milbert, Slaton and Vassar, also City Manager Cotton and Finance Director Nielsen. Ree1 188 After considerable discussion of the 1976 Proposed Budget, it was Side Z moved by Counci.Zman Mi.Zbert, and seconded b� Councilman McDonaZd, to 5 - continue further discussion of the 1976 Proposed Budget to the 23rd of September, Z975, at 7:30 p.m. , in the Council Chambers in the City Ha1Z. A po11 of the vote was as foZlows: Mr. McDonald, yea; Mr. Milbert, yea, Mr. Vassar, yea; Dr. Slaton, yea; and Mayor Mi11er, yea. Motion carried unanimousl�. Action: Mr. Milbert moved, and Mr. McD�onald seconded the motion, that the Mayor's end of appointment of the following people to various City Commissions, be approved. tape. ZONIIVG & PLANNING COMMISSION- Reappointment of AZfred Gaskell, David Arnold, James Hance and Virginia Mo11 for two �ear terms, and the appointment of Susan MorrilZ and Vern Stephan for two year terms. RECREATION & PARKS - Reappointment of James Justus and Eugenia Arimond for two year terms, and the appointment of Craig C1ark and Nancy Ohmann for two year terms. HRA - Reappointment of AZ fred G. Larson for a five year term, and the appointment of Henry Pokorny, Jr. , to fill out the unexpired term of Kenneth Sko1d. CIVIL SERVICE (Police) - Reappoint�nt of Ceci1 Kloss and Howard Marker, and appoint�nt of James Shirley to fi1Z the vacancy caused when James Hance was reappointed to the Zoning & Planning Commission. Action: Mr. McDionaZd moved, and Dr, Slaton seconded the motion, that the meeting be adjourned.
