09-01-2015 Work Session after City Council Meeting MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 1, 2015
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. Present at the meeting were the
following:
x Gene Maxwell, Mayor x Mike Mornson, City Manager
x Jason Gadd, Council Member x Aaron Kuznia, Council Member
x Molly Cummings, Council Member x Kristi Halverson, Council Member
x Kersten Elverum, PED Director x Steve Stadler, PW Director
Council Member Gadd provided an update on the SWLRT schedule.
Council Member Cumming asked about a complaint at the Wild Boar. City Manager Mornson
will ask Chief Reynolds to respond.
Council Member Kuznia inquired about the process for dangerous dogs.
Mayor Maxwell asked about the Highway 169 construction project. He questioned the ways the
City could be promoted during construction.
Public Works Director Stadler was present to provide an update on the solar project. Planning
and Economic Development Director Elverum provided an update on the Housing Forum and
the timeframe for the Johnson building development.
City Manager Mornson provided an update on construction projects and the meeting schedule for
September.
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Council
Halverson, second by Council Member Cummings, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at
9:45 p.m.
