09-15-2015 Work Session after City Council Meeting MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 15, 2015
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. Present at the meeting were the
following:
x Gene Maxwell, Mayor x Mike Mornson, City Manager
x Jason Gadd, Council Member x Aaron Kuznia, Council Member
x Molly Cummings, Council Member x Kristi Halverson, Council Member
x Kersten Elverum, PED Director x Steve Stadler, PW Director
Council Member Kuzina provided update on Park Valley meeting that he attended on Saturday,
September 12. He asked about open forum and how special assessments are determined.
City Manager Mornson provided the following:
• Updated council on attorney process.
• Updated council on process to replace Debbie and Nancy's positions.
• Stated that the Cottageville park ribbon cutting is September 30th and the proposed
Mainstreet ribbon cutting is October 22nd
• Reviewed the agenda for the joint meeting with the Minnetonka City Council
• Stated that there are new owners at Aji's restaurant.
• Discussed State of City request.
• Stated that staff sent a letter to MNDOT on the exit ramp off 169.
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by Council
Cummings, second by Council Member Kuznia, the meeting was unanimously adjourned at
10:00 p.m.
