ORDINANCE 2016-1105
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STORM SEWER EASEMENT
WITHIN HOPKINS VILLAGE
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
That the following described area of the following public storm sewer easement in the City of
Hopkins, namely:
The City of Hopkins hereby vacates the public storm sewer easement reserved by Hennepin County
Recorder Document No. 3883588, legally described as follows:
That part of the East-West Alley located within Block 2, West Minneapolis, according to the recorded
plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota, described as follows:
That part of said East-West alley, lying between the extension Northerly across it of the East boundary
line of Lot 42 and of the West boundary line of Lot 7 said Block 2, West Minneapolis, and between the
extensions Northerly across it of the West boundary line of said Lot 42 and a line parallel thereto and
distant 10 feet Easterly thereof
And;
The City of Hopkins hereby vacates the public storm sewer easement reserved by Hennepin County
Recorder Document No. 3878185, legally described as follows:
That part of Block 2, West Minneapolis, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County,
Minnesota, and of the vacated alleys in said Block 2, described as follows:
A strip of land in Block 2, West Minneapolis, 14 feet in width, being 7 feet on either side of the
following described center line: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 1 in said Block 2; thence
Southeasterly to a point 43.5 feet West of the East line and 12.2 feet North of the South line of Lot 40,
said Block 2; thence East, parallel with the South line of said Lot 40, a distance of 72 feet; thence
Northeasterly to the intersection of a line drawn 7 feet North of and parallel to the Northerly line of Lot
7, said Block 2, and the East line of Lot 3, said Block 2 as the same is extended Southerly; thence East
along a line drawn 7 feet North of and parallel to the North line of Lot 7, said Block 2, to the West line
of Sixth Avenue and there terminating, all in West Minneapolis, according to the recorded plat thereof
