RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT FOR COMPLETION OF WORK
THE ARTERY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT 2014-09
WHEREAS, The Moline project is under construction and scheduled to open and begin
leasing operations in 2017, and
WHEREAS, The Artery Project which includes reconstruction of 8th Avenue and
portions of Excelsior Boulevard adjacent to The Moline is scheduled to be constructed in 2017,
and
WHEREAS, the Development Agreement for The Moline between Doran Companies
and the City specifies the parties coordinate on the completion of The Artery Project to minimize
interference between projects and meet scheduled milestones, and
WHEREAS, the agreement for completion of The Artery Project specifies requirements
for constiuction phasing, project roles and assurances,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City af Hopkins,
Min�esota:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement for Completion
of Work with Doran Companies for the said project.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 7`h day of February, 2017.
