RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID
2017 STREET AND UTILITY 1MPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 2016-10
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids far the improvement of Sth, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th,
and lOth Avenues South; 6th and 7th Streets South; East Park Valley Drive and West Park Val-
ley Drive; the alley south of 6th Street South west of lOth Avenue South; and the alley connect-
ing 6th Avenue South to 8th Street South bids were received, opened and tabulated according to
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHER�AS, it appears that Meyer Contracting of Maple Grove, MN is the lowest respon-
sible bidder,
NOW THEI2EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota, that:
The mayor and city manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter a contract with Meyer
Contracting of Maple Grove, MN in the name of the City of Hopkins for the improvements
noted above according to the plans and specifrcations therefore approved by the city council
and on file in the office of the city clerk.
2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to retum forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bid-
der shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
