AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a work session of the Hopkins City Council was
held on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 7:20 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall,
1010 First Street South, Hopkins.
Mayor Cummings called the meeting to order with Council Members Kuznia, Halverson,
Gadd and Campbell attending. Staff present included City Manager Mornson, City Clerk
Domeier, Director of Planning and Development Elverum, Assistant City Manager Lenz
and Public Works Director Stadler.
City Council:
• Mayor Cummings read a letter from Hopkins residents, Pat and Vernon Isaak, in
appreciation of the many events, resources and services provided at the Hopkins
Activity Center.
City Manager Mornson provided the following updates:
• Council Members were given a copy of the 2018 Legislative summary.
• Recognition of Minnetonka Mayor Schneider for his years of service.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the City Council and upon a motion by
Campbell, seconded by Gadd the meeting was unanimously adjourned at 7:26 p.m.
