RESOLUTION NO. 2001-100
RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING, KNOLLWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD
POND IMPROVMENTS, PROJECT NO. 00-14
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the City Council on March 6, 2001, plans
and specifications for improvements to the Knollwood neighborhood storm water
detention pond have been approved, and original bids received in March, 2001 were too
high and were thereby rejected by City Council and pending assessments were cancelled.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1. The City Council will consider the aforesaid improvements in accordance with
the project design and the assessment of benefiting property for all or a protion of
the cost of the pond improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 at
an estimated total cost of $130,000.
2. A public hearing will be held in the Com~cil chambers of the City Hall at 1010
First Street South on Tuesday, January 15, 2002, to consider said improvements.
The hearing time is 7:30 p.m.
The City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of said hearing and hnprovements
as required by law.
