RESOLUTION NO. 2001-76
RESOLUTION ORDERING PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT HEARING
2002 STREET AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT 01-10
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized and directed the City Engineer to
prepare a report with reference to the aforesaid improvement, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has caused to be prepared the aforesaid report for
improvements on 11th Avenue South from Landmark Trail South to the Soo Line
Railroad Bridge, 11th Avenue South from 1st Street South to Mainstreet, 13th Avenue
South from 1s, Street South to Mainstreet, 2® Street North from 9th Avenue North to 12th
Avenue North and Milwaukee Street from Washington Avenue to Monroe Avenue
South.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota:
The Council will consider the aforesaid improvements in accordance with
the report and the assessment of benefiting property for all or a portion of
the cost of the street improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes
Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of $695,699.90.
A public improvement hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall at 1010 First Street South on Wednesday, the 7th day of
November, 2001, to consider said improvements. The hearing time is
7:30 P.M.
The City Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of said hearing and improvements
as required by law.
