RESOLUTION 2001-55
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF HOPKINS TO
ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
OFFICE OF DRUG POLICY AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION
WHEREAS, the Hopkins Police Department is a participating member of the Northwest
Metro Drug Task Force and;
WHEREAS, the Hopkins City Council supports the goals of the Task Force and;
WHEREAS, One of the member Police Departments must serve as the coordinating
agency for the Task Force;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the City Coun~cil of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota that;
The City of Hopldns enter into a cooperative agreement with the Office of Drug Policy
and Violence Prevention in the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Steven C.
Mielke is authorized to execute such agreements and addendums as are necessary to
huplement the project on behalf of the Northwest Metro Drug Task Force.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 21st day of August, 2001.
