RESOLUTION NO. 2001-02
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AFTER PUBLIC HEARING
PROJECT
WHEREAS, a resolution o£the City Council adopted the 19th day of December, 2000,
fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of street reconstruction on 11th
Avenue South (Smetana Rd. to Landmark Trail South), gth Avenue (1st St. North to Excelsior
Blvd.), 14th Avenue North (4th St. North to South Service Dr.), 16th Avenue North (1st to 2nd St.
North), including replacement of deficient utilities, and installation of bituminous overlay, and
and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it appropriate and expedient to make such improvements,
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was
given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 2nd day of January, 2001 at which all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted
the 19th day of December, 2000.
2. Bolton and Menk, Inc. is hereby designated to prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.
