RESOLUTION 2000-68
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF HOPKINS TO
ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE
OFFICE OF DRUG POLICY AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION
WI-IE~AS~ the Hopkins Police Department is a participating member of the Northwest
Metro Drug Task Force and;
WItEREAS, the Hopkins City Council supports the goals o£the Task Force and;
Wl~. ~REAS, one o£the member Police Departments must serve as the coordinating
agency for the Task Force;
NOW, TI-IEREFORE, be it resolved, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota that:
The City of Hopkins enter into a cooperative agreement with the Office of Drug Policy
and Violence Prevention in the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Steven C.
Mielke is authorized to execute such agreements and addendums, as are necessary to
implement the project on behalf of the Northwest Metro Drag Task Force.
