RESOLUTION 2000-44
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS AVAILABLE TO THE
CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA FROM THE MINNESOTA STATE
TRANSPORTATION FUND AND ANY EXCESS FUNDS FOR THE LAKE
STREET BRIDGE BE RETURNED TO THE MINNESOTA STATE
TRANSPORTATION FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has applied to the Commissioner of
Transportation for a grant from the Minnesota State Transportation Fund for City
Bridge #L9334 located on Lake Street just east of Blake Road.
WHEREAS, the amount of the grant has been determined to be
$294,854.00 by reason of the lowest responsible bid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota does hereby affirm that any cost of the bridge in excess of the grant
will be appropriated from the funds available to the City of Hopkins, Minnesota,
and that any grant monies appropriated for the bridge but not required, based on
the final estimate, shall be returned to the Minnesota State Transportation Fund.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 5th day of
July, 2000.
