RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT AND
APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO CONSTRUCT ADDITIONS TO ZION LUTHERAN CHURCH
WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP00-1 has been made by Zion
Lutheran Church;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for a conditional use permit was made by Zion
Lutheran Church on January 24, 2000;
2. That the Hopkins Zoning and Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed
and published notice, held a public hearing on the application and
reviewed such application on February 29, 2000: all persons present were
given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of City staffwere considered; and
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 15, 16 and 17; Lots 12, 13 and 14 except that part of said
Lots lying Easterly of a line drawn from a point in the South line of said
Lot 12, distant 10 feet West from the Southeast comer of said Lot 12, to
the Northeast comer of said Lot 14, and there terminating, Block 1,
Burneside Addition, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in
the office of the Registrar of Titles of Hennepin County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the application for Conditional Use
Permit CUP00-1 is hereby approved based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the proposed additions meet the requirements for a conditional use permit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for Conditional Use Permit CUP00-1 is
hereby approved based on the following conditions:
1. That the two plantings of the required size are added to the site.
