RESOLUTION NO. 2018-020
RESOLUTION APPROVING MNDOT AGREEMENT NO. 1030140
BETWEEN MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
AND CITY OF HOPKINS AND HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City of Hopkins, Hennepin County and the
Minnesota Depaitment of Transportation (MnDOT) enter into a Cooperative Construction
Agreement for improvement of County State Aid Highway No. 20 (Blake Road), and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Hopkins deems it proper and in the public interest to
enter into such an agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City to
execute and enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1030140 with the State of Minnesota,
Department of Transportation to provide permission by the State to the City to install sidewalk,
storm sewer, and other associated construction to be performed within State Right-of-Way upon,
along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 7 at County State Aid Highway No. 20 (Blake Road)
within the corporate City limits under State Project No. 2706-242.
