RESOLUTION 2018-023
REVISING LEGISLATIVE POLICY 5-D —SPECIAL EVENTS POLICY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hopkins has approved a document entitled the
Legislative Policy Manual to provide uniform guidelines on City policies so that actions taken are
consistent and fair; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hopkins has established Legislative Policy 5-D in
order to set forth procedures to be followed by organizers of Special Events who wish to use City
property and/or require City services; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hopkins has determined the existing policy needs to
be revised to update the list of pre-approved activities, regulations, procedures and fee schedule.
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Hopkins hereby
adopts the revisions to Legislative Policy 5-D Special Event Policy as proposed in Council Report
CR2018-034.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 6th day of March, 2018.
