RESOLUTION 02-113
RESOLUTION APPROVING 2002 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
TAX LEVY COLLECTffiLE IN 2003
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.033, Subdivision 6, allows the levy ofa special
tax not to exceed 0.0144% (that is, .000144) of taxable market value for purposes specified
therein.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, that
the following sums of money be levied for the current year collectible in 2003 upon the taxable
property in said City of Hopkins, for the following purposes.
Proposed
Housing & Redevelopment Authority $ 106,000
Total Levy $ 106,000
This levy is made based on current law, not to exceed 0.0144% oftaxable market value of the
City for collection in 2003, as authorized by the Act and described above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby ordered and directed to transmit a
certified copy of this resolution to the County Auditor of Helmepin County, Minnesota.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins at the levy adoption presentation of the
Council held this 17th day of December, 2002.
