RESOLUTION RECEIVEING FEASIBILITY REPORT, AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND AUTHORIZING RIGHT OF WAY AND
EASEMENT ACQUISITION
CSAH 73/TH 7 INTERSECTION AREA ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS
CITY PROJECT NO. 01-06
WHEREAS, a feasibility report was prepared under the direction of the Public Works
Department of the City of Hopkins with reference to the proposed improvements for the CSAH
73/TH 7 intersection area including 1 ih Avenue North from 4th Street North to Robinwood
Lane.
WHEREAS, this feasibility report was received by the City Council on January 15, 2002 with
the project to be known as: CSAH 73/TH 7 Intersection hnprovements, City of Hopkins Project
No. 01-06
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1. That the feasibility report is hereby accepted and the preparation of plans and
specifications are hereby authorized.
2. That the City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement and
may retain any professional help he deems necessary.
3. That the City's Attorney and the City Engineer are hereby authorized to acquire
necessary easements by negotiation or condemnation and may retain any professional
help they deem necessary.
