RESOLUTION 2005- 046
RESOLUTION CREATING A NEW PRECINCT AND POlliNG PLACE
WHEREAS, St. Therese Southwest has requested that a polling place be
established in their facility, and;
WHEREAS, The current precinct six is the largest and has over 1,900
registered voters, and;
WHEREAS, The number of voters would be better served if the precinct were
divided into two precincts;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, Precinct number seven is to be created as
follows:
Starting at Smetana Road and 11 th Avenue South, north, following the
Congressional District line to Excelsior Boulevard, west to the City Boundary line,
south, following the City Boundary line to Smetana Road, east following Smetana
Road to 11 th Avenue South.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that the polling place for said precinct shall be St. Therese
Southwest, located at 901 Feltl Court.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 17 day of May,2005.
