RESOLUTION NO. 2004-061
Accepting FEMA Grant and approving grant expenditures
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins Fire Department has applied for a 2003 FEMA
fire prevention grant; and
WHEREAS, FEMA has seen fit to award the City of Hopkins up to $19,791 to
purchase a fire prevention display; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins believes the effectiveness of fire education
within the City is improved by purchasing this equipment;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Hopkins, Minnesota, that we accept the FEMA Grant and approve the expenditures as
outlined in the grant proposal.
