11-18-03 WSCITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Maxwell at 11:02 p.m. All Council members
were present, as well as City Manager Steve Mielke.
Upon request from the mayor, Council Member Brausen indicated he had no items for
discussion.
Council Member Jensen indicated she had no items for discussion.
Council Member Rowan reflected upon the comments of Council Member Johnson after
the election.
Council Member Johnson indicated she had no items for discussion.
Council Member Rowan asked City Manager Mielke to tell City Clerk Terry Obermaier
that she had done a nice job preparing information and materials for the Council's
discussion on charitable gambling.
City Manager Mielke provided background information on a potential redevelopment of
the North Annex property by the medical technology firm AGA. He also reported on
articles that had been in the recent Star Tribune concerning AGA, and stated that the City
Council maybe asked in the future to consider a proposal from AGA for the
redevelopment of the North Annex.
There being no other items for discussion, Council Member Jensen moved and Council
Member Brausen seconded a motion to adjourn. The motion passed unanimously. The
meeting adjourned at 11:17 p.m.
