2004-032 CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY MINNESOTA RESOLUTION NO. 2004-032 RESOLUTION TO AMEND LEGISLATIVE POLICY #8-B, ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS, MINNESOTA, WHEREAS, City Council does not want residential property owners to be financially burdened by multiple assessment payments for street or alley improvements; and WHEREAS, City Council desires to continue adequate maintenance of the city's pavements infrastructure; and WHEREAS, the current legislative policy #8B should be updated to reflect the current designated state aid streets; and WHEREAS, the current legislative policy #8B should be amended to limit the application of an assessment rate cap to residential properties only; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Hopkins hereby amends Legislative Policy #8-B, Roadway Improvements as shown on the attached revised policy document.
