A City Council Work session was held on Tuesday, August 3,1999 in the Councll
Chambers after the regular City Coundl meetlnp.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Redepenning at 10:28 p.m. All City Counal
members Were in attendance, as was City Manager Stiere Mielke.
Government Training Senrlce
Coundl member Hesch informed the Coundl that she had received potential training
optlons through the government training service and wished do discuss them at a fufiure
work se~ion. City Manager Mielke indtt;ated he Would Dopy the materials to the full
Coundl and schedule it for discussion.
Town Terrace Apartrnsnis
Mayor Redepenning indicated that he had

Chemical Health Canrrrission
Coundl member Johnson discussed the Cherrdcal Health Commission, indic:adng that
they were unaware ofi the change in reporting requinemerrts, and she informed them of
our new reporting pnooedures. AdditlonaNy, there Were lour positions open on the
Chemkail Health C.ornmission, and she indicated that fomrer student member Angie
Redmor wished to becorrre an aduR member. KeNey Bloomquist w~ouM be the new
student representative.
Liquor Salos During Raspberry Festival Parade
Coundl member Johnson shared with the City Manager the name of a representative
from the Legion who had oontlnuing questions about the serving of alcohol during the
Raspberry f=estlval. She also indicated that to her luawledge there Wens no violatlons
OF liquor sales during the parade this year.
