01-18-94 ~ .. Due to the extreme cold on January 18, 1994 the regular meeting of the Hopkins city council was postponed until 10:30 a.m. on January 19, 1994. The only agenda item the Council dealt with was the Consent Agenda. Present were Mayor Kritzler and Maxwell. Mielke, Genellie and absent. Redepenning, Councilmembers Hesch, Also present were City staff members Gessele. Councilmember Anderson was I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Redepenning called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. II. CONSENT AGENDA 1. APPROVAL OF JANUARY 14, 1994 REGULAR MEETING MINUTES 2. APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS, PRELIST 931 3. APPROVAL OF MISCELLANEOUS LICENSES 4. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - KNOLLWOOD PROJECT (Rpt. 94-13) 5. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - MAINSTREET PROJECT 90-04 C & D (Rpt. 94-14) 6. APPROVE CHANGE ORDER - ELMO PARK WATER TREATMENT PLANT (Rpt. 94-12) 7. APPROVE MEMBERS TO THE HUMAN RIGHT COMMISSION (Mayors Memo) 8. APPROVE MEMBERS TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY BOARD 9. APPROVE MINUTES OF JANUARY 11, 1994 WORKSHOP Councilmember Hesch wanted to know why two of the original members were no longer on the Human Rights Commission. Mr. Mielke explained that they had asked to be removed from the Committee. Councilmember Maxwell showed concern over having more than one person serve on more than one committee. He felt that a possible conflict of interest could impede someone serving on more than one commission. Mr. Mielke explained that the Council had to approve all Commission members and each appointment could be decided on an individual basis. After discussion Councilmember Hesch Consent Agenda. Councilmember Maxwell seconded the motion to moved approve and the A poll of the vote was as follows: Councilmember Hesch, Aye; Councilmember Krizler, Aye; Councilmember Maxwell, Aye; Mayor Redepenning, Aye. The motion carried unanimously. III.
