The meeting began with a tau o~fthe fin station and a discussion of the proposed ranodeling

questions about the proposed layout and the cost estimates. The tour was concluded at 7:05
p.m..

L DISCQSSION ON 1'SE OF HOLDIIITG A TII+' WORKSHOP
Tim Kerrigan rev~iearod the concept of a Tax Financang workshop with the Councfi and
discussed the components of a worlcslLOp and the po~tentialmvitees to such a workshop. The
Council consensus was to hold a workshop from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. au March 15th and to invite
members ofthe Neighborhood AMY Board, the Plaomgg Comrnis~sion and the Bu:aness
Couna'1.

John Stoll of Doherty, Rumble end Butler and Steve 1VIie1loe~ City Manager reviewed the pota~ial

John Soon outlined the steps necessary to fu1fi11 the P'RP process andmdicat'0d that the PCA was
rending that letters be sent to the major contr~utors to the landfill and to invite them to a
meeting to discuss the PZtP process. He also indicated that, should the I.and~a Cleanup Aar
which will be beRore the legislature get passed, it is possible that Hopkins would not need to goo
through the PRP process and could be included in the legislation. 11~iellre recommended that the
City pursue the mvit~o~+~ to a meeting and to salt those who may be po~teatially responsible

adjourn. The motion passed unenimausly. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 p.m
