A special meeting oaf the City Counal was called to hold a tax increment financing seminar.
Them sting was held in the Raspberry Room of Hopkins City Hall.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Redepenning at 7:00 p.m.
In attendanos were Mayor Redepenning, Council members Anderson, Hesch, Kritzler, and
Ma~cwsll. Also in attendance wens staff members Steetie Mielks, Tom Harmening and Jim
Kerrigan. Citizens in attendance included Paul Janke, Bill Schumacher, and Yr+g Evenstad.
A presentation was made by Bob Disks, Bradley & Dieke; Sid Inman, Publicorp; and Mark
Ruff, Publicorp.
Discussed in the presentation was the background and history of tax increment financing with-
in the state if Minnesota, a history of tic increment finarx;ing in Hopkins, and the future of tax'
incnernent financing and its impacts on other ta~dng jurisdictions.
Following the presentation there were questions from those in attendance.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
