MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLiJSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, December 19, 2006
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:50 pm at the conclusion of the regular City Council
meeting at City HaIL Council members present were Mayor Maxwell and Council members Thompson,
Rowan, Halverson, and Youakim. City personneLpresent were City Manager Rick Getschow.
Excelsior Crossings
City Manager Getschow stated that the announcement that Cargill will occupy the Excelsior
Crossings sight is now official. A press release and media coverage shall be coming next month, as it
relates to this major redevelopment project.
Opus held a neighborhood meeting on this project the previous Thursday. The meeting went well. The
main issue that was discussed at the meeting related to traffic. Traffic issues were addressed and will be
covered again at future Planning and Zoning and City Council meetings.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Halverson, seconded by Thompson to adjourn
the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 9:55 pm.
