MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, November 7, 2006
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:20 pm at the conclusion of the regular City Council
meeting at City Hall. Council members present were Mayor Maxwell and Council members Thompson,
Rowan, Halverson, and Youakim. City personnel present were City Manager Rick Getschow and Public
Works Director Steve Stadler.
Excelsior Boulevard Streetscape
Public Works Director Steve Stadler provided an update on the Excelsior Boulevard streetscape project
Shady Oak Road Project
City Manager Getschow provided the Council with a brief update on Minnetonka's discussions with
residents north of Highway 7 in the north service drive area. A decision should be coming before the end of
the year regarding that element of the Shady Oak Road project north of Highway 7 in Minnetonka.
Parker Office Condominium Project
City Manager Getschow provided an update to the Council on the Parker Office Condominium project.
Parker has begun work on the driveway of his potential office condominium project in south Hopkins. He
had received initial approval for this project in 2004.
here being no further business, a motion was made by Thompson, seconded by Halverson to adjourn
the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 9:39 pm.
