09-06-05 WSSeptember 6, 2005 Page 1 MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING September 6, 2005 Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:50 pm at the conclusion of the regular City Council meeting at City Hall. Council members present were Mayor Maxwell and Council members Thompson, Brausen, Johnson, and Rowan. City personnel present were City Manager Rick Getschow. Noise on Mainstreet Council member Johnson requested and received an update regarding noise complaints on Mainstreet, and the work that the police department has been doing with neighborhood businesses and residents regarding the noise issue. Midwest Mastercraft Boats Council member Thompson asked if anyone had heard anything related to a leasee for that particular property. Mayor Maxwell stated that he may have heard something and would let Council member Thompson know. Railroad Depot ' Council member Thompson requested that City staff follow up with the railroad regarding the condition of the railroad depot property near Edco Products on Excelsior Boulevard. Hurricane Katrina City Manager Getschow provided information from the police department related to a connection the 'police department has made with a community in Mississippi regarding hurricane relief. There being no further business, a motion was made by Council member Brausen, seconded by Council member Thompson to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
