MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, October Z, 2007
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 8:45 pm. Present were Mayor Maxwell and Council
members Halverson, Brausen, Rowan and Youakim. City personnel present were City Manager Rick
Getschow, City Planning and Development Coordinator Kersten Elverum and City Planner Nancy Anderson
Snyder Drug Drive Thru: Staff and Council discussed the drive thru proposal that had come to the City Council
meeting of September 4th' This item will again be coming back to the council at a future regular City Council
meeting but more research was needed for the Council to make a decision on the variance and conditional use that
is being requested for the drive thru.
Other:
City Manager Getschow gave an update on upcoming development projects including Block 64, L.A.
Fitness and the Mayon Plastics site.
Council member Youakim asked a question regarding police enforcement of the new statewide smoking
ban. City Manager Getschow will follow up with the Police Chief and provide further information in the
Friday update.
There being no further business, a motion was made by Halverson, seconded by Youakim to adjourn the
meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 pm.
