RESOLUTION APPROVING AN INCREASE IN THE CONTRACT TOWING RATES.
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-75
WHEREAS, Matt's Auto Service is the contract towing service for the City
of Hopkins; and,
WHEREAS, Contractor expengeg, especially far vehicle fuel, have risen
significantly since the last increase in 2005; and,
WHEREAS, The proposed towing and storage fees are comparable to
those fees charged in neighboring cities,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City of Hopkins approves the
following contract towing fee schedule for the contract with Matt's Auto Service $75.00
far basic tow; $85.00 for flatbed tow; $28.00 per day storage fee.
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, That the towing contractor reserves the right to renegotiate
towing fees if fuel prices rise significantly during the term cif the contract.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 7t" day of November, 2007.
