RESOLUTION 2008-007
RESOLUTION APPROVAL OF BID AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
FIRE DEPARTMENT LADDER TRUCK
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bid for a Mid Mount Ladder Truck
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and following bids
were received complying with the advertisement.
Sutphen Corporation: $905,654.00
E-1 $864,995.00
Pierce Manufacturing $859,565.00
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Pierce Manufacturing of Appleton Wisconsin Is
the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Hopkins Fire Department enter
into an agreement with Pierce Manufacturing,to build amid-mount ladder truck
for the City of Hopkins according to the specifications approved by the City
Council and on file with the office of city clerk.
