MINUTES OF 'TIIE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, April 1, 2008
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 9:10 pm. Present were Mayor Maxwell and Council
members Halverson, Brausen, Rowan, Youakim and City Manager Rick Getschow.
Other:
City Manager Getschow updated the city council on the progress with the TIF special legislation. The
City has already testified before the Senate and will soon be testifying before the house. This bill should
be moving forward this session.
Council member Brausen discussed items that he would like to see on future work session agendas in
addition to continuing to pursue the concept of the mobile work sessions this summer and through 2008.
• City Manager Getschow stated that the April 8t'' work session will be a joint work session with Planning
and Zoning Commission to discuss both the comprehensive plan and the Blake Road corridor study.
With no further business, a motion was made by Halverson, seconded by Brausen to adjourn the meeting. The
motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 pm.
