2008-027 CITY OF HOPKINS HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION 2008-027 RESOLUTION RELATING TO PARKING RESTRICTIONS MINNTONKA MILLS ROAD FROM FIFTH AVENUE NORTH TO 400 FEET EAST OF HERMAN TERRACE CITY PROJECT 07-10 WHEREAS, THIS RESOLUTION was passed this 15th day of April, 2008, by the City of Hopkins in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The Municipal corporation shall hereinafter be called the "City", WITNESSETH: WHERAS, the "City", has planned the improvement of Minnetonka Mills Road and 2nd Street NE, State Aid Route No. 132-350 from 5th Avenue North to Blake Road; and WHEREAS, the "City" will be expending Municipal State Aid Funds on the improvements of this Street; and WHEREAS, this improvement does not provide adequate width for parking on both sides of the street; and approval of the proposed construction as a Municipal State Aid Street Project must therefore be conditioned upon certain parking restrictions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Hopkins, Minnesota, that the "City" shall ban the parking of motor vehicles on both sides of Minnetonka Mills Road, State Aid Route No. 132-350 from 5th Avenue North to 400 feet East of Herman Terrace at all times.
