Approving Special Assessment for
Waterline Repairs on Private Property
WHEREAS, On June 19, 2020 the owners of property at 346 10`f' Ave N, Hopkins, MN and
identified as 24-117-22-24-0127 signed an agreement petitioning for repairs to be
done to their private waterline; and
WHEREAS, the owner has insufficient funds to repair the waterline; and
WHEREAS, the City as a program whereby the owner has the ability to petition the City to do
the repairs and have the cost assessed to their taxes; and
WHEREAS,as part of the agreement the owner waives their right to object to the assessment,
NOW TIiEREFORE BE IT RESOLYED, that the City Council of the City of Hopkins hereby
orders the assessment of$3,750 to be placed on the taxes of the property listed above for a 10
year period with an interest rate of 4%.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Hopkins this 14th day of July, 2020.
