RESOLUTION PETITIONING NINE MILE CREEK
FOR IMPROVEMENT FUNDING
PROJECT No. 06-OS
WHEREAS, Nine Mile Creek Watershed is in need of various improvements as outlined in the
April 2006 Feasibility Report and such improvements have an estimated cost of $2.5 million,
AND WHEREAS, The City has not budgeted for the entire cost of this project,
AND WHEREAS, The Nine Mile Watershed District has funding available to pay for said im-
provements,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota, that:
1. The mayor and city manager are hereby authorized to petition the watershed district for fund-
ing of said improvements.
Adopted by the City Council this 2"d day of May, 2006.
