RESOLUTION FOR AWARD OF CONTRACT
EXCELSIOR BOULEVARD STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE III
CITY PROJECT 04-07
Whereas, the City solicited bids for the construction of various streetscape
improvements along the Excelsior Boulevard between Shady Oak Road and
Highway 169, and;
Whereas, three (3) bids were received with Pember Companies, Inc. being the
lowest cost, responsive bid,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOPKINS,
MINNESOTA, that Pember Companies, Inc. with a low bid of $1,656,183.07 is the
lowest responsible bid and the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized
and directed to enter into a contract with said bidder for and on behalf of the City.
Adopted by the City Council of Hopkins, Minnesota, this 21St day of March 2006.
