RESOLUTION NO. 2007-15
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT GRANT
APPLICATION SUBMITTED TO THE HENNEPIN COUNTY HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has established Tax Increment District 1-3 and 1-4 to facilitate
the redevelopment of the east end of Mainstreet; and
WHEREAS, the redevelopment costs exceed the funds available to the project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins considers the redevelopment of these project areas a priority
for the City.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Hopkins, in accordance with Minnesota
Statures 383B.77, subd. 3., supports the Transit Oriented Development grant application
submitted to the Hennepin County Housing and Redevelopment Authority on February 22, 2007,
by the Hopkins Housing & Redevelopment Authority for the East Mainstreet redevelopment site.
