MINUTES OF TIIE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
AT CONCLUSION OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, September 2, 2008
Mayor Maxwell called the meeting to order at 10:30 pm. Present were Mayor Maxwell and Council
members Halverson, Brausen, Rowan, Youakim and City Manager Rick Getschow
Other:
City Manager Getschow stated that a ribbon cutting event will be occurring at some point in early
October for the opening of the first building for Cargill.
• The City Manager stated that the staff will be meeting with Opus and Cargill to discuss the accelerated
construction of building two and three and the effect that they may have on employee traffic into the site.
• The City Manager stated the Fire Department Open House is scheduled for Saturday, October 11 t''
City Manager Getschow stated that he will make sure that all information related to the Capital
Improvement Plan (CIP), Equipment Replacement Plan (ERP) and the City Budget are on the web site in
their entirety.
With no further business, a motion was made by Brausen, seconded by Halverson to adjourn the meeting. The
motion passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 10:45 pm.
