At their March 17th meeting, the Hopkins City Council approved
a resolution authorizing me to offer the General Services Administration
$5000. 00 cash for the old Hopkins Post Office site in the Hopkins
• [urban Renewal Area Minn.-A-5.

We are pleased to. make this offer, and ask your concurrence with
this price, in your•repoit'to the Congressional Cittee '{which oversees
such sales.
While this process unfolds, we would appreciate your permission
to allow public access to the site for public parking. . (This access
would apply to . find only, not the building.) The s to lis presently
fenced and - with the normal accumulation * o •winter trine - is badly
in need of a clean -up. We would be happy to provide such a clean -up if
access could be provided prior to final transfer:
