RESOLUTION 99-110
RESOLUTION TO APPOINT HEARING OFFICER.
WHEREAS, the City of Hopkins has adopted City Ordinance 1155 dealing with the
illegal sale, use, and possession of tobacco products and;
WHEREAS, Section 1155.1'1 of the Hopkins City Ordinance allows for administrative
penalties to be assessed for violations of the Ordinance and;
WHEREAS, persons charged with a violation of this Ordinance may request a hearing
regarding the alleged violation and;
WHEREAS, the City Council may, by Resolution, designate the person to serve as the
Hearing Officer,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved, by the City Council ofthe City ofHopkins,
Minnesota, that the City Manager ofthe City of Hopkins, or the City Manager's
designee, will serve as the Hearing Officer under this Ordinance.
