RESOLUTION 99-16
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AFTER PUBLIC HEARING
PROJECT 98-09
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 2nd day of February, 1999,
fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of alley reconstruction between
12th/13th Avenues south of Mainstreet, street improvements on 12th/13th Avenues South and
1st Street South, (Project 98-09) including street reconstruction, alley reconstruction,
replacement of deficient utilities, and installation of bituminous overlay, and
WHEREAS, the Council deems it appropriate and expedient to make such improvements,
and
WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing was
given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 2nd day of March, 1999, at which all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Hopkins,
Minnesota:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted the 2nd day of February, 1999.
2. Bolton and Menk, Inc. is hereby designated to prepare plans and specifications for
the making of such improvement.
