RESOLUTION NO: 97-48
RESOLUTION MAKING FINDINGS OF FACT
AND APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
TO ERECT SIGNS FOR THE OAKS OF MAINSTREET TOWNHOMES
WHEREAS, an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP97-4 has been made by Real Estate
Equities, and;
WHEREAS, the procedural history of the application is as follows:
1. That an application for Conditional Use Permit CUP97-4 was made by Real Estate
Equities on February 21, 1997;
2. That the Hopkins Planning Commission, pursuant to mailed and published notice, held a
public hearing on the application and reviewed such application on April 29, 1997: all
persons present were given an opportunity to be heard;
3. That the written comments and analysis of the City staff were considered; and
4. A legal description of the subject property is as follows:
Lots 1-13, inclusive, Block 1,
Lots 1-8, inclusive, Block 2,
Lots 1-9, inclusive, Block 3,
Lots 1-21, inclusive, Block 4,
Lots 1-13, inclusive, Block 5,
Lots 1-8, inclusive, Block 6,
The Oaks of Main street, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that application for Conditional Use Permit CUP97-4
is hereby approved, based on the following Findings of Fact:
1. That the proposed signs meet the requirements for a conditional use permit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that application for Conditional Use Permit CUP97-4 is hereby
approved based on the following conditions:
1. That the setback variance is granted.
